Transition Completes Final Stage of Advanced’s Strategic Acquisition of Modern Systems in 2019
Modern Systems, an Advanced company and leading global provider of application modernization services, today announced its official rebrand to Advanced. The transition serves as the final stage of its acquisition and fully integrates the company into Advanced - the UK’s third largest software and services company.
Advanced and Modern Systems became partners in 2016, collaborating on a number of customer ventures, including a critical UK government project for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). In July 2019, Advanced acquired Modern Systems to create a unique global modernization software and services powerhouse. As a unified entity, the company has completed more than 500 modernization projects and processed over 2.5 billion lines of code through its solutions.
