Transition Completes Final Stage of Advanced’s Strategic Acquisition of Modern Systems in 2019

Modern Systems, an Advanced company and leading global provider of application modernisation services, today announced its official rebrand to Advanced. The transition serves as the final stage of its acquisition and fully integrates the company into Advanced - the UK’s third largest software and services company.

Advanced and Modern Systems became partners in 2016, collaborating on a number of customer ventures, including a critical UK government project for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). In July 2019, Advanced acquired Modern Systems to create a unique global modernisation software and services powerhouse. As a unified entity, the company has completed more than 500 modernisation projects and processed over 2.5 billion lines of code through its solutions.

“Completing this final stage of our brand transition has been an incredible feat, and we are thrilled to officially become one with the Advanced brand,” said Brandon Edenfield, Managing Director of Application Modernisation at Advanced. “By formally combining our brands across all channels, we have strengthened our foothold in the industry, enhanced our abilities to drive value for our customers, and have further established Advanced as a global leader in application modernisation, Cloud and IT services.”

As part of the rebrand, the website and its content will remain active for a short period of time before permanently relocating to its new, dedicated website for application modernisation at Additionally, Modern System’s individual social channels will fold into Advanced’s social media presence to enable a seamless transition for customers and the industry alike.
